Rising Sea Levels


Sea levels around the world are rising at a destructive rate - potentially affecting the livelihoods of those living in coastal regions - how? ⁠

Since 1997, global sea levels have dramatically increased and pose a strong threat to coastal communities forcing some to migrate to higher land and move from their family communities. ⁠

What can we do to prevent rising sea levels? ⁠

Two of the main contributors to rising sea levels is from ice glacier melting and thermal expansion. ⁠

By reducing our overall greenhouse gas emissions from our work and home lives, we can reduce the impact that rising sea levels are having on the world 🌍
