Solar-Powered Smart Bins

I just read up on the new trial of solar-powered smart bins at Shelley Beach. It is part of a broader initiative to integrate innovative technology and smart infrastructure to improve sustainability along the coast of New South Wales.

The energy generated compacts the waste inside the bins, reducing emissions through fewer garbage collections. What a great initiative!
